This wrench in my heart, thrown into my gears
I’m stuck here, after all of these years
Grown to learn, taught to be strong
Think before I act now, and do no wrong
Walking in these shoes, you’ll step off the road
With love these laces are tied and soles are sewed

Love is just a dial tone, waiting for a call

Built my own sky so gorgeous so blue
Where the sun is always bright, but still cloudy on you
Please heavens let go of this angel I will meet
I need my head cleared and put back on my feet
These wings are young, soon they will grow
Fly away from here, dream of places I’ll go
The ocean is endless, until you meet the shore
Dry up in the sun, your heart will grow sore
Glide overhead and higher I will rise
The wind underneath me, to blow away these lies
A lot has changed ever since that day
Forks in the road, I can find my own way
And when I reach where I am to be on this journey
You’ll see what you left; now lessons I’m learning
The pictures you left, stapled to the walls of my soul
Feelings you had, now just an empty bowl
The world is mine, overflowing in my hands
Letting nothing slip through, these are my plans
To bring others smiles, to make life brighter
A lonely loner, but a good fucking fighter
