Sunken Sadness Sleeps..
The bags are packed, I ran out of tries
Friends are gone, I’ve said my goodbyes
Hope your half is greener, as mine’s a shade of blue
Painted with clouds, that all came from you
As the rain comes down, and washes out the bad
You’ll be off, locking out your heart, iron clad
Riding the shoulder of life, just wanting a sign
I’ve been yielding the whole way, on this thin white line
When thunder claps, it feels like my heart
And once I think of you, the skipping will start
Any word you say, is enough for me
But the love I have, has been set free
As I sit in nirvana, from the explosion of hate
I’ll know where I’m at, but no patience for my fate
For all of the if’s, how’s, and if I only knew when
Won’t help me bring back, the taste of soap on your skin
I can daze, forget, and sure as hell dream
It can’t wake me from this nightmare, or vicious fucking scheme
Please shake me, to see if I’m alive
Didn’t know I’d make it out, or even survive
The biggest lesson I’ve learned, I want to forget
To ever love again, this thought is on the shelf to sit
And may the dust pile up, as the sun makes it fade
In the middle of my ocean, I’ll drown in the wave
Thought this was bottom, but now I see rocks
As you find it all useless, the texts, and the talks
Please if you must, drop me off in the deep
Where I can be at peace, and where I can sleep
I don’t want to hurt, but that’s all I can feel
What you’ve done here, want so bad to appeal
You can forget, but you’re my distraction
I’ll always look to you, for my satisfaction
I cannot die, my heart is too strong
A shattered one it may be, but it is never wrong
Friends are gone, I’ve said my goodbyes
Hope your half is greener, as mine’s a shade of blue
Painted with clouds, that all came from you
