Between the Lines

As the pen in my head writes, the last page’s not the end
At the beginning of this page, you were just a friend
My life’s been quite rocky, but I’ve never been wrecked
Just fuckin’ shoved to the side, and forced to love the neglect
Light at the end of the tunnel, that was my final goal
But around you I travel warp speed, going through a wormhole
The end of this pen is great, it comes with an eraser
Just take away all the things she did, I no longer have to face her
With us, I see no break or ending in our sights
Aiming for the stars, hope love’s not afraid of heights
Brighter than the sun, we need our shades
For the past is just like now, as it never fades
Lay it all down, this heart of diamond as it shines
Just like a deck of cards, we read between the lines
Nothing but truth, not a thing to hide
A hand to hold, forever by your side
If you could have everything, it’s all that I would give
Wouldn’t pass it up, this life I'd love to live..
