Prove I Need To Move

Please let me know that there’s still a little there,
Clear up the dust from this implosion, and fill these lungs with air
Give me a sign, or just turn around,
Leave us at the door, and don’t make a sound.
Please shade these skies white, as I’ve been so blue,
Let me know that I mean what you say I do.
Making me feel like I’m always in the way, or causing a stir,
You want me gone, and I want to know for sure
I can disappear, and fall far from this place,
So quick to decide, I can forever vanish this face.
So happy without me, don’t want to see it as so,
But I’m the one still here; you’ve already let me go.
I’ve got my dog who’s always been my buddy,
To help me soul search, and remind me life gets muddy.
I want to call, I want to hear that voice,
Can’t help my feelings, for they give me no choice.
You made me feel like the biggest person on the planet,
I left myself for you, while others couldn’t stand it.
I had it all, asking for nothing more,
Didn’t ask to be lit and be burnt to the floor.
What are we now, what will we build to make,
It’s not at all what I want, my life is my mistake.
You might not wear your emotions like me,
But I’m caged by you, please set me free.
I want to find my angel, and my sweet taste of heaven,
Please go on, as you’re the one that’s leavin’
I’ll see you from where you can see your sky,
The paint you spread on it, will soon chip and dry,
I can pick up my pieces, but I will leave yours.
You left me at nothing but scrap, with so many open doors,
I’ll grease up my gears, as you left them as rust,
Can’t stomach all of this, so moving on is a must.
