Hiding From Your Lies.

It’s been a little bit, since I’ve typed my feelings out
Never forgotten what I do, and what it’s all about
Getting more in touch, falling ever so deeper
The wind speeds are deafening, as this hill is getting steeper
The days that I’ve lived, I can never take them back
We think we don’t hold grudges, but this is what we lack
Understanding other views, and the way people see
We lock ourselves up, without giving away the key
I’ve known from this, and what I’d like to assert
You will only seem arrogant, and out of waste that you will hurt
The bad feelings I have, will never go away
The memories I cherish now, forever they will stay
Life is harsh, but it can be nicer
As it holds the knife, forever as the slicer
Always treat great, to the ones that are close
If you dare poison them, life will give you a dose
When you’re not looking, before which you can blink
It will hit you like a train, and you won’t know what to think
Everything’s in this world, to help you realize
You can’t hide from anything, when you’re hiding from your lies..

Is it the way we view life, or just the past that makes us learn Could it be the future shouting for us, as we take a wrong turn Maybe the seasons reminding us, that we'll have to see the rain Or the fog in the morning, just hiding all our pain Or the way our blood flows, it's a constant reminder Our hands showing us, that we can be kinder Always be the happiest, and be sure to show others Treat everyone like your own, sisters and brothers Our lives are different, unique and not simple But none can cure the worst, with just a smile and a dimple You can waste away in drama, and pointless confusion Only treat it as fuel, to light up your illusion The pain we've been put through, putting up with the fake It's all but a joke, as it puts icing on our cake Friends take what they will, but leave without a dent Life is a lesson, and we'll never know what it meant All the time we have left, is here to enjoy And the sun reminds us, that it's love you can...
